In partnership with the International Women's Forum of Connecticut we are pleased to present a program honoring Women of History. Our very special guest will be Melanie Kirkpatrick, CT resident, journalist, author, and former Wall St. Journal OpEd Editor and Author of Lady Editor: Sarah Josepha Hale and the Making of the Modern American Woman; a historical biography about Sarah Josepha Hale, editor of  Godey’s Lady’s Book, and the most influential woman in America in the nineteenth century. She will be in conversation with Jane Applegate, co-founder of the Remarkable Women Project.
